Essex community pharmacy acquired by expanding operator

Stifford Pharmacy in Thurrock, Essex, has been purchased for an undisclosed price by Pharmazone, a small pharmacy group that owns several pharmacies across the South-East of England.

Stifford Pharmacy is a standard-hours community pharmacy, which dispenses an average of 4,400 items per month.

Tauqir Hassan of Pharmazone said: “We look forward to growing the business and continuing our group’s growth in the South-East of England.”

The deal was facilitated by Christie & Co.
