Dorset pharmacy sold to Devon operator

Queens Park Pharmacy in Bournemouth, Dorset, has been acquired by Peter Boakye, who also owns Lynton Pharmacy in Devon, for an undisclosed price.

Queens Park Pharmacy is a standard hours community pharmacy that dispenses an average of 12,700 items per month. Rajesh Kerai had owned the pharmacy for more than 22 years and decided to sell due to a desire to spend some more time with his family.

Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co facilitated the deal.

Kerai commented: “Christie & Co was able to introduce a number of potential buyers with greatly different plans for the business. With their help and advice, we were able to choose a buyer who shared my vision for the future of the pharmacy.”
