Richard Clitherow Pharmacy and M Saleem Dispensing Chemists, both in Liverpool, have been sold to Faraz Cheema of Vital Meds Liverpool for an undisclosed price.
The two standard-hours pharmacies are located less than a mile apart. Richard Clitherow Pharmacy, on Dovecot Place off East Prescott Road, dispenses approximately 10,500 items per month, while M Saleem Dispensing Chemists on Finch Road dispenses around 3,900 items per month.
Both businesses have been owned by the Saleem family for decades – Richard Clitherow Pharmacy for around 30 years and M Saleem Dispensing Chemists for 27 years – and were brought to market as part of a family succession and retirement plan.
The sale was facilitated by Christie & Co, with funding arranged through Christie Finance.
