Trio of Birmingham pharmacies sold

A group of three Birmingham pharmacies have been acquired by Mo Naheem, taking the number of pharmacies owned by Naheem to four.

Balsall Health Pharmacy is a standard-hours pharmacy dispensing around 6,250 items per month, Shire Pharmacy also operates as a standard-hours community pharmacy and dispenses 3,500 items per month, and Attwood Green Pharmacy dispenses approximately 8,300 items per month.

The three pharmacies were formerly owned by Sure Health and were put up for sale as part of the owners’ retirement plans.

The pharmacies were sold for an undisclosed price, with Christie & Co, facilitating the deal, and Christie Finance providing the funding.
