Pharmacy owners can now claim an optional Aspiration payment for the Pharmacy Quality Scheme (PQS) 2026/27 via the NHS Business Services Authority’s (NHSBSA) Manage Your Service (MYS) portal, according to Community Pharmacy England.
For owners planning to claim, the advice is to review the PQS 2026/27 requirements and decide which domains you intend to meet before submitting an aspiration claim.
The key dates are as follows:
• Claim window: 13 July (9am) – 28 July 2026 (11.59pm)
• Payment date: 1 September 2026
• PQS declaration period: 1 February (9am) – 26 February 2027 (11.59pm)
Community Pharmacy England said that claiming an Aspiration payment is optional and does not affect the pharmacy owner’s ability to claim a PQS payment during the declaration period.
