Agentis Health Group acquires Clinical Pharmacist Solutions

LDC-backed Agentis Health Group, a pharmacy and digital health management company, has acquired London-headquartered Clinical Pharmacist Solutions (CPS).

Founded in 2019, CPS supports primary healthcare providers with clinical pharmacy services. It has created training programmes for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to deliver clinical services.

In September last year, Brighton-based Agentis was established from within Ashtons, a provider of medicines management and prescribing technologies, to deliver better health outcomes for people living with long-term conditions. It encompasses three core service areas: Agentis Healthcare, Agentis Pharmacy and Agentis Labs. This is Agentis’ second acquisition, having acquired Living With upon launch.

Agentis Health Group’s chief executive Stephen Tuddenham said: “There is a very close alignment in values and culture between Agentis and CPS. We are both committed to quality, to clinical excellence, and to patient focus, and we both see huge potential in digital, as long as it is used to extend human expertise. This acquisition underlines our aspiration to be one of the most innovative companies in the market, and one that is determined to bring digital innovators and clinicians together to serve healthcare”.

Ruhina Kassam, chief executive of Clinical Pharmacist Solutions, added: “We are looking to deliver the same things – more efficiency and better outcomes – while ensuring that the human remains in digital healthcare. Joining Agentis will give us greater access to digital technology that will enable us to develop new services that complement our existing offer.”
